Does anyone have further advice on how to disable Norton so I can at least boot up and save my files? You may need to temporarily disable real-time protection and auto-scan when adding the Trial Reset to the exclusions lists, or when using it. As long as the NTR is working it's recommended to wait with updating to a new program version update till you know if Norton can safely be updated to a new program version disable the option if available!
